Facebook 360 Photo

We already know that adding images to our Facebook posts has a big impact on reach and interaction, it has been a major force in the success of Facebook since it introduced them over 10 years ago. Now you can add 360 degree photos or panoramic photos to give people an interactive experience on your images.

Not sure what we mean? Click here to take a look at the view outside our office.

All you need to do is take a panorama with your phone or capture a 360 degree photo using a 360 degree photo app of camera, and then simply post it to Facebook as you would normally. This is where it gets exciting as Facebook converts your image into an interactive 360 photo that people can enjoy by moving their phone to look around or swiping on the picture, or by clicking and dragging on your computer.

You can identify 360 photos in your News Feed by looking for the compass icon on the right-hand side of the image. This new feature provides a whole new way to create content for your business, so what are you waiting for? Get started. Show off your premises, offer an insight behind the scenes, take photos when at events or visiting clients, who knows how this could transform your post reach.

Lots of people find it hard to think of content ideas and a growing part of our business is now offering coaching and brainstorming to businesses to support/nurture their own digital marketing. If you’d like to arrange a one on one to find out how to improve your social media marketing please get in touch.
